September 22 - September 30, 2017
Our exhibition Forms of Abstraction is meant to showcase outstanding Polish contemporary artists for whom abstraction has been either the only or one of the ways of their artistic expression. Works of all the featured painters have been verified by time, appreciated by critics, historians of art and museum curators. And now we hope that by presenting these classical abstract paintings, we are helping less experienced viewers keep an open mind when being confronted with the experiments of the young generation of today's artists. Besides, we believe that the works by the distinguished classic painters we are showing at this exhibition, can serve as a guidance for the new breed of creators.
