The Tarasewicz Studio in Andalusia

This exhibition will show the results of the 2007 open air painting expedition to Andalusia, to which Krzysztof Musiał invited Professor Leon Tarasewicz and Wojciech Zubala together with students from Professor Leon Tarasewicz's painting studio at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. The painters invited include: Tymek Borowski, Eliza Danowska, Maria Szkop and Paweł Śliwiński.
The aTAK Gallery exhibition will show the different ways these painters perceived Andalusia's exotic scenery and climate.
These annually organized painting expeditions already follow a fixed formula. The participants, who are guests for several weeks at Krzysztof Musiał's residence, are distinguished teachers from the Academy, who in turn invite four or five young artists from among their pupils, graduates and friends.

The exhibition is accompanied by an illustrated catalogue featuring a text by Artur Tanikowski as well as comments by the artists themselves.
