Southern Landscape. Tuscany 2006

During the opening night of the exhibition "Southern Landscape 2006", which took place on March 30th, Marcin Błażewicz's Piano Quintet, as interpreted by the Chopin Quintet, was played.

This performance of the work was prepared as a result of many joint rehearsals with the composer by a group composed of students from the Warsaw Academy of Music, which were organised during the Andalusian plein-air painting expedition organized by Krzysztof Musiał in September 2006. Some 600 visitors attended the opening night.
The exhibition was accompanied by the publication of texts by Krzysztof Musiał, Antonina Grzegorzewska and Krzysztof Lipka
